Measure Up - Mont Blanc Imperial Stout

There are two types of people in this world.

Those who order a coffee because they need the caffeine, and those who spend five minutes describing notes of candied orange, baking spice and faint memories of a European ski trip. This beer is for the second group.

We started with our signature Imperial Stout base: rich, layered and luxuriously thick. Nutmeg in the boil mirrors the unmistakable spice of a Mont Blanc coffee before freshly roasted coffee beans spent a week infusing deep espresso character into the beer.

Finally, fresh orange peel ties it all together with a little Jaffa-like brightness, lifting the dark chocolate and roast into something both decadent and surprisingly balanced. It's warm, comforting and dangerously indulgent.
