We were excited to collaborate with conscious chocolatiers Loving Earth for one of our most indulgent stouts ever... and it's 100% vegan!
After thoroughly sampling the entire Loving Earth range, we just couldn’t go past their famous Double Hazey mylk chocolate because, of course.
To give the best account of their chocolate block in a stout form, we threw Loving Earth’s signature unroasted cocoa powder into the boil. Post fermentation, we rested the stout for three days on their single origin cacao husks, sourced from the Ashaninka community in Peru. To top it off, we added a truly ridiculous amount of crushed, roasted hazelnuts.
The result is a full flavoured stout with a silky mouthfeel and a smooth, balanced sweetness.
