Log Jam - West Coast IPA

After years of shredding the Blue Mountains, Mountain Culture has finally got the call up to the world-class chaos that is Hardline in Maydena, Tasmania. “Call-up” might be generous, we asked nicely, and while we’re not exactly sending road gaps on a downhill bike, we are pouring beers.

For anyone unfamiliar, Hardline Tasmania is one of the most outrageous mountain biking events on the planet. To celebrate Maydena and the legends brave enough to race it, we’ve brewed two special limited releases. Log Jam is a West Coast IPA named after one of the trickiest sections of the official track (and nothing else!), brewed with Chinook, Simcoe and Mosaic hops.

We’ve laid down a clean, lean malt base and sent it straight down the fall line with classic West Coast bitterness. Chinook and Simcoe layer in dank citrus and a huge hit of freshly cut pine, while Mosaic launches waves of tropical fruit and a smack of jammy blueberry on the landing.
