Some beers are deep. Some beers are meaningful. Some beers are a complex reflection on the nature of existence.
This is not one of those beers.
It’s a slightly extravagant NEIPA loaded with advanced hop product Citra YCH805 during active fermentation, encouraging the yeast to rip apart the hop oils and transform them into waves of bright citrus and soft tropical fruit. We followed that with a hefty dry hop of Citra, Mosaic and Cryo Motueka for a full-spectrum aroma hit because we all deserve a little excess every now and then, right?
Expect mango, pineapple and passionfruit, layered with zesty lime and big orange citrus. The body is pillowy, the bitterness soft, and the aroma loud enough to smell from the next suburb over.
Does it mean something deeper?
Does it symbolise something bigger? Is it a commentary on the human condition?
Nope. It’s pretty good though.
