The Adults Are Talking - Northern IPA

Our Northern IPA Innovation Series explores how cool-fermented ale yeast can reshape hop expression, pairing modern aromatics with crisp, northern drinkability.

For the science bit: Aurora yeast ferments cool promoting clean fermentation while allowing soft fruit and floral esters to shine. Yeast-driven biotransformation releases bound hop compounds, amplifying layered aromatics and blending them with its own character. The result is a bright, balanced IPA with a lean body, expressive aroma and a clean finish.

For the flavour bit: We’re giving the third Northern IPA of the series a Mountain Culture makeover but using a NEIPA malt bill to give it an extra smooth mouthfeel and hazy appearance. Cashmere and Cryo Nelson in the whirlpool followed by generous dry hop additions of Citra, Sabro and Galaxy provide.
