We’ve teamed up with our mates at Cannafox to push the boundaries of flavour again. This time we’re testing out what their Shlomi Special strain of hemp adds to our velvety, hazy IPA base.
When deciding on what hops would complement the hemp’s punchy and herbaceous character, we put together a list of our favourite hops that have the hemp like characteristics of their cousin plants: Strata, Centennial, Columbus, Citra and Simcoe.
Faced with this list, our brewers decided to truly let the dogs out by throwing all the hops in. What they created was a smooth, easy-drinking hazy that has a complex flavour profile of juicy bright citrus, sweet cherry wine and passionfruit, with a sticky undercurrent.
