FAQ: Shipping, Subscriptions, Ts&Cs

When will my order be picked, packed and shipped?

We pick and pack orders Wednesday - Sunday. We do not pick, pack or ship on public holidays. Our couriers pick up on Monday, Thursday and Friday. 

Can I make a change to my order, hold my order or combine two orders after it's been placed?

Generally, no, sorry. Please do not ask us to as we hate to disappoint!

What do I do if I enter the wrong address?

If the delivery address is entered incorrectly, it is the responsibility of the receiver to organise the address change directly with the courier. A change of address fee might be charged by the courier service to the receiver.

How does pick up from a venue work?

If you are collecting from The Brewpub in Katoomba or The Factory in Emu Plains, your order will be ready 24 hours after it's been placed. Please be sure to check opening hours before heading out. Beer must be picked up within 10 days of order being placed.

Can you deliver to an unattended address?

Beer must be signed for by a person over 18 years at the time of delivery therefore beer will not be delivered to an unattended address. If the courier service try to make a delivery and the location is unattended, the package will need to be picked up from a depot. It is preferred that customers use a physical address and not a post box address, as Sendle are unable to deliver to a PO Box.

What's the difference between $5 and $10 shipping?

With the $5 option, our system automatically chooses between Sendle and Auspost the courier that will deliver your beer. If you do not want the system to choose, and would rather Auspost delivered your beer, please tick the Auspost Guaranteed box. The $10 reflects Auspost fees.

Will I get tracking number?

No matter which courier you use you will receive tracking number via email once the order is fulfilled. Don't forget to check spam!

Do you offer express post?

Unfortunately not at this stage. But watch this space!

How long will my beer take to arrive?

Ooft, that's the million dollar question and unfortunately out of our control :( The generic answer is that shipping times vary pending your location. 

My beer is taking a long time to arrive. What do I do?

If it's delayed, the couriers will notify you. If they haven't, check your tracking and lodge a delay notification directly with the courier. If the tracking says it's on its way, be patient, it will arrive, just maybe taking the long route to your place. Unfortunately we can't step in until the parcel has been marked as lost.

Can you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship to WA, TAS QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC and SA. Sorry, but we do not accept international orders.

We support the responsible service of alcohol across Australia. Under the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW), it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. Similar laws against selling or supplying alcohol to minors apply across Australia.

Subscriptions

You can subscribe and save to cases of Status Quo Pale Ale. 

The subscription is a contract between Mountain Culture (hi!) and your good self.

Here are the details.

Pay as you go - auto-renew:
To take advantage of this super amazing deal, subscribers are contracted for a minimum number of deliveries (based on the frequency chosen). After the minimum number of orders you can choose to skip or cancel your subscription.

A contract break fee applies. If you’re not keen on contracts, no biggie, you can buy a case of beer as per normal. 

You’ll be sent an email a few days before your next order to remind you that your card will be charged.

Fine print:
Weekly
  • Order day: Monday, weekly
  • Sent on: Wednesday
  • Minimum number of orders: 8
  • Changes made: before Monday each week.

Fortnightly
  • Order day: Monday, fortnightly
  • Sent on: Wednesday
  • Minimum number of orders: 4
  • Changes made: before Monday each fortnight.

Monthly
  • Order day: 1st of the month
  • Sent on: Next available sending day
  • Minimum number of orders: 3
  • Changes made: by 28th each month.

Quarterly
  • Order day: 1st March, 1st June, 1st September, 1st December
  • Sent on: Next available sending day
  • Minimum number of orders: 2
  • Changes made: before Monday each week.
